WHAT IT IS....

Medicinal Movement Series with Kate Noble presents quick, easy, and effective functional movement exercises to help you feel your best and move more freely. Sessions will open with a quick all-over body refresher. Each week we’ll focus on a different “hot spot.” You’ll learn & practice exercises & strategies to increase comfort, ease of movement, and overall well-being.

WHO IT'S FOR....

I created this class series for those who practice yoga —AND—  those who don't.

 

This is NOT an exercise class.

 

It is a practical, easy, and effective "Functional Movement" class that is infused with yoga principles that round out the classes so that they work in an integrative and holistic way.

 

Have an achy back or hip, creaky knee, tight shoulder, or sore neck?

 

Come get some “Medicinal Movement” to help you feel better and move with greater ease!

 

Sessions open with a quick all-over body refresher. Each week we’ll focus on a different “hot spot.” You’ll learn & practice exercises & strategies to increase comfort, ease of movement, and overall well-being.

Series begins on Wed. Oct. 2nd and repeats on Nov. 7th. You can use your Shine class pass to join us for on-going classes or you can come for just the area of focus you need. This is an easy way to invest your time in order to take care of your whole body, mind, heart, and soul!

ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR

Kate Noble has been working as a functional and mindful movement coach for over 30 years. She is an ACE-certified Personal Trainer, Health Coach, Integrated and Functional Fitness Specialist, Corrective Exercise coach, and holds many other exercise certificates, and is an E-ryt 500 Yoga Instructor who has run the Yoga Teacher Training programs at Shine Yoga for the last 12 years. Kate is passionate about empowering her students and helping them feel their best through functional movement, mindfulness, and holistic lifestyle practices. She artfully weaves modern science and ancient wisdom into practices that feel both practical and magical. Her goal is to help you Flourish and Shine!

WEEK ONE
Full Body Overview & Foundational Principles
Learn QUICK & EASY daily movement patterns & exercises that can help you cultivate all-over body alignment and inner balance to support greater daily comfort and ease of movement. Exercises include healthy posture alignment, gentle stretches, easy muscle activation techniques, and comforting myo-fascial release techniques.

WEEK TWO
Low Back, Spine, Hips
Addresses general discomfort, SI-Joint Issues, Sciatic Nerve Discomfort, and more.

WEEK THREE
Upper Body - Shoulders, Neck, Upper Back, Chest
General discomfort, rotator cuff, stuck shoulder, etc.

WEEK FOUR
Low Back, Hips, Legs, Knees

​

WEEK FIVE
Small Parts - Neck, Wrists, Ankles & Feet
